In 2014 Arapo graduated from Te Takapu o Rotowhio, (stone, bone & pounamu) school, at Te Puia/ NZMACI. Following graduation, he worked under master carvers for 5 years sharing their knowledge and skill. This helped him to create a path way for himself to grow as an artist and give back to his whanau iwi and hapu.
